Rentals and Exchanges (Third Party Use)


Includes use of a Confirmed Reservation for no consideration by Owner’s friends or family.


Rentals


1.The following Rules apply to all rentals and occupancy by non-Owners:

  • Only one rental/third party occupancy per week.
  • No part week use by Owner and third party use for remaining part of week.
  • No multiple short-term rentals within the same week.
  • The Owner is responsible for security deposit arrangements.


2. Third party must meet all pre-conditions for those who can come to Corbett Cove.


3. Both Owner and the third party must complete the necessary forms:

  • The Owner is responsible for sending the renter the Third Party Rules and Check-in Form document (see below) for completion by the third party. 
  • In accordance with the Corbett Cove Resort Owners Agreement, the Owner must provide written permission for third party occupancy when the Owner wishes to allow others to use their Unit. This is done by completing the Third Party Authorization Form (see below) and submitting it to the Administrator.
  • The Owner must submit BOTH completed documents to administrator@corbettcovevillas.ca by 6 p.m. of the Wednesday before the rental week.
  • We recommend that Owners arrange for the third party to complete the Check-in Form at the time rental arrangements are made so that they will have the necessary documentation in place for submission in the week preceding the rental week.


Failure to comply with the above procedures and deadlines may result in denial of access to the property and/or assessment of Personal Charges to the Owner.




Exchanges


Internal (Owner-to-Owner) Exchanges

Each Owner should advise administrator@corbettcovevillas.ca of the exchange at least 1 week before the week of occupancy. The Administrator will acknowledge and record the exchange and the pre-occupancy confirmation notice will be sent to the appropriate parties.


External (RCI) Exchanges

RCI exchanges will be administered by the Association subject to the applicable exchange fee, if any, under the rules.
